THE PLAY
Playwright Alan Gratz has written an original play centered around the widows and children of miners who died in the Fraterville Mine disaster of 1902. Knoxville Actors Co-op is scheduled to present the play from April 23 to May 15, 2004, at the Black Box Theatre in Knoxville. Tickets can be purchased from their web site at www.w3st.com/actors_coop/schedule.html.
As a community service, they will also present the play for Coal Creek residents and students on June 12, 2004, at Lake City Elementary School.

Touring performances are at 8:00 pm and there is no charge, but they will accept donations at the door.
