As part of our Coal Creek Scholars program, we take the students to visit schools that they might be interested in attending. A few of our scholars are interested in learning more about the field of professional engineering as a possible career choice. We took these scholars to visit the University of Tennessee (UT) College of Engineering in Knoxville to get a feel for life as an engineering student at UT.
The students were allowed to roam the halls with current engineering students and stick their heads in on a lecture, classrooms and labs.
